Terms of Use / Kullanım Koşulları

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using the Be My Guest mobile application or visiting bemyguestapp.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Be My Guest. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
  • You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate other individuals.
  • All accounts are subject to identity verification before full access is granted.

4. Token System

Be My Guest uses a token-based system to facilitate interactions between hosts and guests. Tokens are required to create events (host role) or apply to join events (guest role).

  • Tokens have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Tokens are non-transferable — they cannot be gifted, sold or moved to another user. Accounts are likewise non-transferable.
  • If you delete your account, any unused tokens are forfeited and cannot be refunded.
  • If you suspend (freeze) your account, unused tokens are preserved and become available again when you reactivate.
  • If your account is terminated for a breach of these Terms, unused tokens are forfeited without refund or compensation.
  • Be My Guest reserves the right to modify token values, pricing and policies at any time. Such changes are not retroactive.

Purchases of tokens are governed by our Terms of Sale, which also explains payment, delivery and refunds.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Using the platform for commercial solicitation without permission
  • Circumventing verification or safety mechanisms
  • Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws

6. Events and Liability

Be My Guest is a platform that connects hosts and guests. We do not organize, manage or assume responsibility for any event listed on the platform. Users participate in events at their own risk. Be My Guest is not liable for any damages, losses or injuries arising from user events.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology on the Be My Guest platform is the exclusive property of Be My Guest. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Users may delete their accounts at any time by contacting info@bemyguestapp.net.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of [YETKİLİ MAHKEME — ör. the courts of İstanbul, Türkiye].

Consumers: If you use the service as a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country where you reside continue to apply, and you may bring proceedings before the competent consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts in your place of residence.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Be My Guest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to interactions or meetings with other users.

Our aggregate liability in connection with the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
